The Star City Middle School Archery Team competed in the ANASP Regional Tournament, Region 12 and then the ANASP State Tournament.  The team finished first for their region and were ranked 9th in the state after the regional tournament.  The team then shot for the state tournament and finished 12th in the state overall with 3,018 total points. 

After the regional tournament, Cole Dean was ranked 1st in the region and 2nd in the state with 284 points from 499 boys.  For the girls, Railey Curtis finished 1st in the region and 90th in the state with 249 points out of 468 girls.  Also, from the regional tournament, Zander Gibson ranked 3rd in the region, Trent Magness ranked 4th, and Cash Tollison ranked 5th.  Of the girls, Rosaysela Mondragon ranked 2nd, KyleeAnne White ranked 3rd, Presley Story and Taylor Whaley tied for 5th for the region. 

The team shot again for the state tournament.  After this round of shooting, for the boys Cole Dean finished 26th in the state and Presley Story finished 39th in the state for the girls.  The top four shooters for the SCMS team were Cole Dean, Morgan Leopard was 61st, Carson Cantrell was 74th, and Matthew Austin was 80th for the boys and Presley Story, Kylee Anne White was 81st, Railey Curtis was 86th, and Rosaysela Mondragon was 98th for the girls.
