Congratulations to Star City High School junior Maddie Welch on winning the Arkansas Art Educators Presidents Foundation t-shirt design contest. Her design will be featured on t-shirts sold by the foundation to raise money to support school art programs throughout Arkansas.
Thanks to Sargent Art for delivering almost $2000 worth of art supplies to Youth Art Month SCHS students who placed in the Youth Art Month Flag Contest in 2020. Delivery was delayed due to Covid. Grand prize winner Alexia Lams received $500 in art supplies, 1st place state winner Amanda Magana received $100 in art supplies, and SCHS received $1300 in art supplies.
