The SCSD Teacher of the Year program is designed to promote the profession and recognize quality teachers who implement best practices. Nominations are accepted from students, parents, teachers, administrators and members of the general public. Nominations are open until April 1, 2021.

The 2020-2021 Rocket Yearbook is still available at Balfour.com. Click on the "Yearbooks" tab, and enter the name of our school. Price is $55.
Beginning January 12, 2021, any child 0-18 who is virtual or not enrolled in the district may pick up a week’s worth of FREE meals each Tuesday at at the JBE Cafeteria. Pick up times: 10:00am-11:00am and 5:30pm-6:30pm. Enter from Highway 11 for drive through and pick up service. For more information, please contact Lindsey Copta-Vaughn at 866-466-3647.

Our #SCHS ACT Wall of Fame got an update from the December test. Nine students earned a place on the wall and four improved to the next highest tier. Congratulations on your scores! We are excited to see what February brings! #BeTheBest
The State Farm Ladydog of the Week is Janiya Johnson. In our games against El Dorado, Searcy, and Lake Hamilton she had 51 points, 8 rebounds, 11 steals, and she was 13/15 from the Free Throw Line. Great job Janiya!
