JBE will pivot to virtual instruction on Thursday, March 4, 2021 due to the amount of staff who will be attending Mrs. Branson’s service. Students in K-2 will bring home paper packets and students in 3-5 will bring home school devices. JBE staff will be available via email and Google Classroom for students needing assistance. Here is the ticket information to the 4A South Regional Basketball Tournament. Tickets must be purchased at this link - https://gofan.co/app/school/AAA. This link will open 24 hours before scheduled game time. Tickets are $5.00 each. This event is a mobile entry event - tickets must be presented on a smart phone for entry. Printed tickets will not be accepted. Admission will be charged for ages 5 and up. Only current year AAA passes and lifetime AAA passes will be accepted. It is with deep regret that we inform you about a recent loss to our school community. On Monday, March 1, 2021, Stacie Branson, 4th Grade Teacher at Jimmy Brown Elementary, passed away. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with them in the difficult days ahead. Mrs. Branson will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and the entire SCSD community. This loss is sure to raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for our entire school, especially our students. We will offer guidance and counseling services to students and staff. The well-being of our students and staff will remain a top priority as we deal with the emotions surrounding this tragedy. We are saddened by the loss to our school community and will make every effort to help our staff and students as needed. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers as we work through the pain and emotions of this devastating loss.
