The Ladydogs defeated Rogers on the road tonight 62-55. Big win ladies. They are now 4-1. They play again tomorrow at Rogers Heritage.
Community COVID-19 Testing Available Tuesday December 8.
The Arkansas Department of Health has adopted the new CDC Guidelines regarding quarantines for COVID-19 close contacts. The Star City School District will follow this guidance and will be in contact with those already under quarantine to advise them of the new information.
2021 Rocket Yearbooks are still available through the school, using the attached form, until December 11. After that, they will only be available online at Balfour.com. (Click the "Yearbook" tab to begin.) #Expecttheunexpected @SCHS

As always the Star City School District takes the safety of its staff and students very seriously. We are strictly following all guidelines set forth by the Arkansas Department of Health and Arkansas Department of Education, and are in frequent communication with those entities. Specifically, as it pertains to quarantines we follow the Department of Health Requirement (6ft or less and 15 minutes or more) protocol when determining who the close contacts are, with a positive case. If you do not receive a call from us then your child is not a suspected close contact.

Bulldog and Ladydogs basketball schedule changes:
Monday Dec.7th-all games against Camden Fairview CANCELLED.
Tuesday Dec.8th at White Hall- Senior Girls only at 5:00.
Friday Dec.11th- both Ladydogs and Bulldogs are CANCELLED.
Attention - Bus A will be late this afternoon. These students will be picked up from their buildings around 3:40 to begin their ride home.
The Junior High Basketball games scheduled for Monday against Camden Fairview at Star City have been cancelled. A reschedule date will be posted once it is finalized.
