The Star City Middle School hosted the 2021 Scripps Spelling Bee on January 15,2021. The winner will be eligible to compete in the Arkansas State Spelling Bee held in March. The spelling bee consisted of students grades 6th-8th. The winner is Boston Standridge (8th grade), 2nd place Kira Scott (6th grade), and 3rd place Darren Yarberry (8th grade). We would like to congratulate all of the contestants that participated and the winners. #BeTheBest #SCMSstrong

Ally Grayson is the State Farm Ladydog of the Week. In our 3 games against Warren, Crossett, & Magnolia she had 31 points, 8 rebounds with 5 being offensive, was 4/6 from 2pt range, 8/10 from Free Throw Line, and took 3 charges! Great job Ally!
