Dear ABC Parents,
Sunday evening the Star City School District was notified of a positive case of COVID-19 at Star City ABC. Due to additional close contacts and the shortage of available staff and substitutes our ABC program must close, Thursday and Friday. The District followed the ADH protocols to identify all Probable Close Contacts. Those who met the criteria as a Probable Close Contact have been contacted and will be under quarantine.
ABC will close Thursday, September 24, 2020 and Friday, September 25, 2020. If additional days of closure are necessary we will notify parents. Star City School District will continue to work with the Arkansas Department of Health and Arkansas Department of Education and follow their protocols as directed. We appreciate the work and cooperation of our staff and parents during this situation.
Again, if you have not been contacted your child is not considered a Probable Close Contact. This does not affect any other buildings in the District at this time. Please monitor our website and social media for updates as they become available.
