COVID-19 Update:
Governor Hutchinson held a press conference this afternoon updating on the Coronavirus situation. The state of Arkansas has 12 presumptive positive cases of the virus. As of now, schools in 4 Central Arkansas counties (Saline, Jefferson, Pulaski, Grant) have been directed to close due to new presumptive positive cases and direct contact by others with those who have tested positive.
At this time, we do not have the local power to close school without the state’s permission. We are staying in contact with the state about our situation and next steps. We will update you with any changes.
If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 or have family that has had exposure please call the hotline at 1-800-632-4502. If you develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call the hotline or your doctor for medical advice. Any students with any fever or symptoms should stay home and call the hotline or your Doctor for advice. #WhateverItTakes
