We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19), & are working in coordination with the Arkansas Dept. of Health (ADH) & Dept. of Education (DESE) to monitor the situation in our area. There are NO confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Star City School District at this time.
School and school activities will continue at this time, and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), in consultation with the Arkansas Department of Health, shall provide guidance to local school districts and institutions of higher education to address concerns related to the virus and take all actions necessary to ensure the continuation of education.
The Secretary of Health, in consultation with the Secretary of Education, shall have sole authority to close public school campuses throughout the state for reasons related to COVID-19. The situation will be monitored closely.

Star City Schools will have an early dismissal Friday at 2:30pm and regular bus routes will run at this time. The Pep Bus for the Ladydogs State Championship Game will depart SCHS at 3:30pm for high school students who purchase a ticket. All high school students planning to travel must return their signed parent permission by Thursday to ride. Go Ladydogs! #WhateverItTakes
