Team Star City Archery competed in their first ever NASP Southeast Regional Tournament on February 8 in Hamburg Ar. Our team placed third overall out of Nine teams. We had six girls placed in the top twenty. One of those finished fourth overall. We had one boy who finished in the top twenty and two others finished in the top thirty-five out of seventy-one competitors. I am very proud of our team. They represented our school very well. — Coach Young Team members are: Gabby Wainwright, Madison Rowe,Miguel Rios,Jazzy Ebbert,Cameron Jackson,Joe Harris,Presley Story,Emerson Whaley,Nathan Dutton,Albert Brown,Emma Mann,Jaden Sherrill,J.C. Star City High School FCCLA competitors Marissa Owen, Rosalyn Donham, and Kade Carter earned Gold at the State FCCLA STAR Events! Rosalyn’s event is “Job Interview,” and Marissa and Kade’s event is “Focus on Children.” All three will be representing Arkansas and SCHS FCCLA at National STAR Events in Washington D.C. this summer!
