SCMS would like to recognize the hard work of our students. We are so proud of their efforts on the latest Interim exams. 92% of our students in grades 6-8 showed growth in at least one area from the Fall Interim to the Winter Interim.

6th Grade: 90/103 (87%)
7th Grade: 96/96 (100%)
8th Grade: 107/118 (91%)
Moved Levels: (Students moved at least one level in at least one area)

Congratulations! Star City Middle School and Star City High School have been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as schools where students demonstrated high growth on the ATLAS! Awards are based on the 2024 growth score. #BeTheBest
