This is an important message from Star City School District. If your child lives on or rides on a bus route that is accessed by one of the listed roads, you will need to make arangements to pick your child up from his or her respective school. The following roads in the Lincoln County area are not recommended for school bus passage by the Lincoln County Road Department: Armstead. Alabama. Bailey. Buckeye. Blair. Burling. Bishop. Clearfield. Caraway. Chesapeake. Cheyenne. Cottondale. Delta. Desoto. German. Green Hills. Heartland. Klondike. Madison. Mayfair. Longview bridge. Please contact your child's building principal if you have any questions.

Star City High School will hold a parent meeting concerning the 2018-2019 class schedules. Good morning, if the bus cannot get down your road, we do have a list of riders and they will be excused. If your child is not a bus rider and you are unable to bring your child to school safely, please call your students building for absence approval. Buses will be traveling slow so may be a little behind their scheduled pickup times. The updated list of roads that buses will not travel is attached.

Lady Dogs advance to semi-final action and qualify for state tournament. They will play Friday @7pm in Monticello.

The Student Showcase will be held at the Star City School District on March 15, 2018. This showcase will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and will be a showcase of learning led by students, presented by students, and demonstrated by students. Students in grades PreK-12 will “be in charge” of the informative and impressive evening focused on skills and the application of learning. Students will present their projects of learning at all three campuses at the following times: Jimmy Brown Elementary Student Showcase - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Star City Middle School Showcase - 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM Star City High School Showcase - 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM Education encompasses a broad range of disciplines from elementary through high school. We extend our invitation to you to join our Student Showcase event and see our students present their projects of learning at Star City Schools.
