The following roads in the Lincoln County area are not recommended for school bus passage by the Lincoln County Road Department: Armstead, Alabama, Bailey, Buckeye, Blair, Burling, Bishop, Clearfield, Caraway, Chesapeake, Cheyenne, Cottondale, Delta, Desoto, German, Green Hills, Heartland, Klondike, Madison, Mayfair, and Longview bridge. If any bus route modifications cause a student not to be picked up by the bus and parents are unable to bring their child to school, we ask the parents to please contact the school. If a student is absent due to any bus route modifications, it will be an excused absence.
Bus drivers will be monitoring their routes as they drive. The safety and security of the Star City School students is our priority.

Good morning, if the bus cannot get down your road, we do have a list of riders and they will be excused. If your child is not a bus rider and you are unable to bring your child to school safely, please call your students building for absence approval. Buses will be traveling slow so may be a little behind their scheduled pickup times. The updated list of roads that buses will not travel is attached.
