FAFSA Night is February 5th in the High School Library.
FAFSA is the application for federal student aid for college and trade school. This night is to help students and parents complete this application. FAFSA is a huge opportunity for students to receive funds. It is also required for many students that do not qualitfy for federal aid. It is required for many state scholarships like the Arkansas Lottery Scholarship. College financial aid staff will be on campus to help and answer questions. Due to previous inclement weather days, SCSD has 5 instructional days to make-up for the 23-24 school year. These days will be made up on February 19, April 26, May 23, May 24, & May 28. The creation of the SCHS quiet space (calming room) for students is underway. We are so grateful to have received a grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield. So far new paint, seating, shelving, and other therapeutic tools have been added.
