The Student Showcase will be held at the Star City School District on March 15, 2018. This showcase will be held from 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM and will be a showcase of learning led by students. Students PreK-12 will "be in charge" of the evening focused on the application of learning. Students will present their projects at all three campuses at the following times: Jimmy Brown Elementary 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Star City Middle School 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM Star City High School 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM Education encompasses a broad range of disciplines from Pre-K through High School. The testing schedule will be as follows:
9 Weeks Summative Assessment Schedule:
Monday, March 12th - 2nd period, 4th period, 7th period
Tuesday, March 13th - 1st period, 5th period, 8th period
Wednesday, March 14th - 3rd period & 6th period
Makeup tests will occur on Thursday & Friday - March 15th & 16th.
If you are exempt, you are exempt from your Math, Literacy, Social Studies (using your Reading Scores), and Science period - NOT the DAY.
Attendance will be taken the entire week.
If you miss a 9 weeks test, these tests will be made up on Thursday or Friday. Attendance will be taken on Thursday AND Friday. Classes will continue throughout the week. Thursday and Friday are an opportunity for students to make up tests.
Report Cards will run on March 27th and will be sent home on March 28th.
